Poems
Poems are like opinions
And everyone’s got one
Rattling around in their heads
Or in their hearts trying to get out
Onto words on paper or into music
And some are only able to get out
And reveal themselves on the faces
Of their creators in the smiles or frowns
That they wear or in their simplest of actions.
And there will always walk among us
Those able to read into the wonder of these things.
